On 16th May 2020, Prof. Li Xiao Rong spoke on EYECAST ASIA OPHTHALMOLOGY: DURING AND BEYONG COVID-19 PANDEMIC CRYSIS. The webcast covered the current experience in all Asian countries, internationally recognized experts from Asia, Dato Dr Lai Yoon Kee (Malaysia) as the moderator, Prof Li Xiao Rong (China), Assoc Prof Dr Adrian Koh (Singapore), Dr Minguita Padilla (Philippines), Dr Nor Fariza (Malaysia) Prof Li presented the TMUEH experiences of the clinical practice during the lock down period of the pandemic, the protection measure for the clinical staff and the patients for emergency and urgent eye care. He also shared the experiences of the precaution measures we applied when the infection slowly settled down. Prof Li emphasized the importance of the body temperature screening and the personal protection measures are the essential keys when the clinic and operations resumed, which lead to our rapid and safe recover of medical service for the patients.
