History
The Department of Uveitis & Ocular Immunology at the Tianjin Medical University Eye Hospital was officially founded in 2011. The founder is Prof Zhang Xiaomin, head of the department.
Faculty experts and team
Prof Zhang Xiaomin (MD, PhD) is a senior consultant and doctoral supervisor. She is the director of Uveitis & Ocular Immunology Department and deputy director of Tianjin Medical University Eye Institute. Prof Zhang joined in Tianjin Medical University Eye Hospital (TMUEH) after she graduated from Tianjin Medical University and received her PhD in 2004. With the scholarship from FONDATION FRANCO-CHINOISE POUR LA SCIENCE ET SES APPLICATIONS (FFCSA), she did one year of postdoctoral work from 2005 to 2006 at Rothschild Hospital and University Paris 12 in Paris. She has been awarded the title of talent in the new century of Tianjin Medical University, leading talent of Tianjin universities and outstanding contribution expert of Tianjin.
