The 6th TMUEC International Meeting - The 1st International Retina Meeting in Tianjin was held from March 24-26, 2006 in Renaissance Tianjin Hotel which locates in Tianin Economic Development Area. 40 foreign eye specialists from UK, Holland, Japan, Canada, Australia, Singapore and Indonesia got together with 150 Chinese ophthalmologists to have further discussion on the new development of diagnosis and treatment of retina disease, gene therapy and stem cell research as well as the progress of vitreoretina operation. On the morning of last day of the meeting, live surgery demonstration was held at TMUEC. Local and overseas ophthalmologists had been invited to showcase their surgical expertise in vitreoretina operation. |
